The unique Triple Junction technology uses the blue, green and red components of sun light in different layers of the solar cell. As a result, a higher efficiency rating in low light conditions than with crystalline solar cells can be achieved . Power generation is even possible in shadow and the power output stays constant with rising surrounding temperatures.
The first layer – also called the blue cell – uses light from 300 to 600 nanometers, the green cell absorbs light up to 800 nanometers and the red cell covers the range from 500 to 1000 nanometers wavelength. The panels are sealed in silicon and thus fully waterproof and scratch-free.

We do only care about the environment when it comes to the way our products function - we adhere to an environmentally friendly approach throughout the entire value chain. It is important to us that our solar panels are produced with the lowest possible energy expenditure and from eco-friendly material components.
In direct sunlight, our solar system supplies 3 Wp per bag with an effeciency rating of 9%.
With the integrated Lithium-Polymer battery pack various mobile devices can be charged with stored solar energy. At the moment, our battery pack has a capacity of 18.5 Wh and needs 2-3h to be fully charged on a sunny day. The filled up battery pack can then flawlessly charge iPhones, iPods, other smartphones, navigation devices, cameras and iPads (in standby mode).
Via the integrated battery indicator you always know how much energy is left in you battery pack. Note: We recommend not to discharge the battery pack below 25% of its capacity. A fully discharged battery pack needs a higher voltage to initiate charging. Therefore a discharged battery pack needs direct sunlight to be charged whereas a partly charged battery pack can be charged using shady light.

The battery pack is directly charged via a mini-USB (power IN) through the solar panels. To charge your mobile device you it them to the USB output (power OUT). All required adapters for various mobile phones are included in the delivery*. * contains all adapters required to charge mobile phones released on the European market. Additional adapters for older models can be added on request free of charge. |
